108 : Ian Goldstein – 18 and Ready to make a go of a life as he chooses! His self-awareness keeps him grounded in what he loves
I love Ian’s story where at 18 he became self-aware! I mean really self-aware. Who does that? Especially so young. This interview is a little different than some of my others but if you have children, it can give you an opportunity or almost permission to think a little different, to realize the world you and I live in (eCommerce) has changed the world, especially the business world. No more lifetime jobs/careers with lifetime benefits and pensions. No more Gold Watches, no more work for 30 years, retire and play golf for the few years you have left. No it’s about living life now, right now, and giving your kids permission to recognize they don’t need to be put in a slot, a pre-approved tract. Remember as you listen that Ian is only 18 years old in chronological age…. but wise way beyond that!
