When you talk with Paul you realize how humble he is. A great quality for sure, but he has figured out how to develop strong relationships and the value they bring his business. Now it’s not a take only relationship (hence the humble), its a give without expectation and receive rewards from it. Being ready to help others magically helps Paul when he least expects it. Going to conferences and meetups and getting to know others on a personal level affords more chances to discuss business opportunities. You will run into deals that are too big for you to handle or too much cash to expose. That’s when the relationships of others can make a win/win deal happen, then repeat.
